Account Summary
This is a summary of your account information including your unique account number and other identifying information related to your service location.
Electricity Usage
This represents the amount of electricity used during this billing period. These rates are set by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB)
Delivery
This is the cost of delivering electricity to your home.
Regulatory
This is the cost of maintaining the provincial electrical grid system and is managed by the Independent Electricity Systems Operator (IESO)
Electricity Charges
This is the total charges related to electricity.
Charges Subtotal
This is the subtotal for your current billing cycle.
H.S.T.
Harmonized Sales Tax. The current rate is 13% in Ontario.
Balance Forward
If you didn't pay off your bill completely in the previous month, the remainder is carried forward and reflected here.
Total Charges
This is the total charge for your current billing cycle.
Ontario Energy Rebate
If your building is enrolled in a RPP, a rebate will be applied on the electricity charges.
Statement Summary
This is your statement summary for the current billing cycle. It provides you information on the statement date, total amount due, and payment due date.
Average Usage
This chart shows your average daily electricity usage for the current billing cycle.
Meter Information
This section displays the metering data retrieved from your meter this month.

Account Summary

Water Usage
This represents the amount of water used during this billing period. The rate is set by your local municipality.
Water Base Charges
This is the fee for delivering water to your home and for the maintenance of piping infrastructure.
Water Service Fees
This fee is charged for water utility service and is charged to all active accounts with or without consumption. It covers maintenance, installation, repair, warranty, re-certification. Additionally, the fee accounts for meter reading, billing, customer service, and the overall maintenance of accounts.
Water Charges
This represents the total water charges for your account during this billing cycle.
Security Deposit
The security deposit is based on 2.5x the average monthly bill and is split into 6 equal payments.
Paper Billing Fee
This is the fee for paper billing. Eliminate this fee by turning on paperless billing.
Account Setup Fee
This is a one-time setup fee for opening a new account.
Late Payment Fee
A monthly late payment fee of 1.5% of total outstanding balance of the account is charged when the balance is overdue. This equates to 19.56% of total outstanding balance annually.

Your Bill Explained
This is a summary of your account information including your unique account number and other identifying information related to your service location.
This represents the amount of electricity used during this billing period. These rates are set by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB)
Time Of Use (TOU)
Your bill will be split into 3 different time periods: Off-Peak, Mid-Peak, and On-peak. The cost and amount of electricity used for each period will be clearly shown.
Tiered
Your bill will be split into 2 categories: Tier 1 and Tier 2. You can use a certain amount of electricity at the lower tier price before the higher tier price is charged.
This represents the amount of water used during this billing period. The rate is set by your local municipality.
This is the cost of delivering electricity to your home including the cost of maintaining the infrastructure.
This is the cost of maintaining the provincial electrical grid system and operating the wholesale electricity market. It is managed by the Independent Electricity Systems Operator (IESO)
The security deposit is split into 6 payments of $25. When you move out, the security deposit is returned to you if your account is in good standing. We may deduct from the deposit if there are any payment issues or consistently late payments.
This is the fee for using paper billing and it covers the cost of printing and mailing physical bills. Eliminate this fee by turning on paperless billing.
